Our 65th Class Reunion Will Be Held on September 18, 2026, at Short Hills

Great news! You are cordially invited to celebrate the 65th Reunion of the Moline High School Class of 1961.

The 65th Anniversary Class Reunion will be heldat Short Hills Country Club, East Moline, Illinois, on Friday, September 18, 2026. This reunion will be an afternoon luncheon because many classmates can no longer drive at night, and it will be easier and safer to get around during daylight hours for all of us. Time of reunion: 12:00 Noon (Greeting – Cash Bar), Buffet Lunch: 12:30 pm, Group Photo: 2:30 pm, End of reunion: 4:45 pm, Clean-up: 4:45 pm. Copy the registration form below and mail it to Larry Wiemers as soon as you can. We must receive it no later than September 4, 2026, which is the deadline. To keep costs down, this reunion will be partially subsidized by our cash reserves and donations from others. The cost will be $24 per person. We are planning a free memorial booklet for those classmates who attend. You may bring up to two guests—simply include them on your form. If you or your guests are vegetarians, please note this on your registration form. If there is interest in a weekend brunch gathering, please let us know—we will gladly explore that option.

Whether or not you are able to attend, we would love to hear from you. Please send a note or email update—we will compile messages in a memory binder to share with classmates. Spouses of ill or deceased classmates are warmly invited to contribute as well. Our classmates will always be remembered.
